
Tunde Ogungbade
Tunde Ogungbade is a proven executive with over 25 years of leadership and management track record, driving sustainable growth responsibilities for businesses in Europe, Africa, and North America.
Most recently, he led an African Fintech firm, Accelerex, from a start-up to a private equity-backed multinational group of financial service businesses, overseeing the group’s expansion efforts into high-growth markets in Sub-Saharan Africa.
In his previous role as a co-founder with Integrata Security, he served as the Chief Technology Officer responsible for the product development and commercialization of wireless intrusion detection solutions using technology exclusively licensed from the NSA.
Prior to Integrata, he served in various management and technology leadership roles in North America, within the utilities (WSSC) and management consulting industries (Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, Sogeti, and PricewaterhouseCoopers), where he was responsible for strategic execution, business turnaround and restructuring, expansion efforts for high growth, technology development & operations, enterprise technology funding, and product innovation for various industries.
He served as part of a transition team at the largest Maryland agency for a democratically elected US Governor. He was instrumental in contributing clear technology strategies and agency turnaround recommendations for the governor-elect’s policymaking. He also volunteers in a faith-based, not-for-profit organization providing leadership and mentorship to meet the local needs of the African diaspora community.
Tunde holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria; an engineering master’s degree in Real-Time Systems from London Southbank University, UK; and an Executive MBA from Robert H. Smith School of Business, the University of Maryland.
